Mr. Eelan
- Lex Luthor: Mr. Eelan. Make me happy.
- Mr. Eelan: The buyers are definitely interested in the merchandise, but they're insisting on a demonstration.
- Lex Luthor: Fine. Arrange it.
- Lana Lang: Let me go, you maniac! Help! HELP!
- Mr. Eelan: That won't do you any good, Ms. Lang. Nobody's here. The factory is fully automated because of the lead fumes. In fact, there's so much lead residue on the walls, I doubt Superman could see through them, even if he weren't in Central City.
- Superman: [crashing through the ceiling] You're right, Eelan. I couldn't see you, but my hearing's pretty good.
- Lex Luthor: Well?
- Mr. Eelan: The merchandise is ready to ship. As soon as the client agrees to the terms, the deal will go through. I've arranged for a demonstration. I think they'll be impressed.
- Lex Luthor: Where?
- Mr. Eelan: Down by the old Carter Mill. 1:00.
- Lex Luthor: I'm glad you could finally make time for me, Lana. I was beginning to think you were trying to avoid me.
- Lana Lang: You're not getting rid of me, Lex Luthor. I'm sticking to you like glue.
- Lex Luthor: [chuckling] Then I'll see you tonight for dinner. Mercy will pick you up at 7:00.
- Mercy Graves: [bringing him a phone] It's Eelan.
- Lex Luthor: [taking it] Yes?
- Mr. Eelan: There's a problem.
- Lex Luthor: I don't care! I want you in Central City waiting. The client expects the shipment to be ready tonight. And there'd better not be any surprise visitors this time.
- Mr. Eelan: The rifle shoots a microwave beam, exciting electrons to their highest state.
- [he fires it at a tree to demonstrate]
- Terrorist: Nothing's happening.
- Mr. Eelan: Wait.
- [the tree explodes, with what's left continuing to burn]
- Terrorist: [taking another rifle out of its case] I'm gonna like this gun.
