    Shifter

One of the more creepy, dark episodes. It's an easy view and goes more into the character of Dean which has pretty much just been the comedic relief till now. The cgi was bad tho.

When Supernatural used to be Supernatural visually scary and bad-ass not like is now days a total joke. "Skin" is my favorite episode

I miss years 2005 till 2007 i miss this years when I was in high school those were times back than. Paul Walker was alive my mom was alive and this show from Season 1 - 5 was incredible. First Season of Supernatural is great absolutely great.

Two brothers Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) travel cross country, desperately searching for their missing father while traveling on the road they are fighting evil supernatural beings of many kinds, including monsters, demons, and gods that roam the earth.

The first season was about Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles no one else, they were the main stars and Eric Kripke produced and developed the first 5 seasons until Sera Gamble took over as a showrunner and ruined it after Season 6.

Season 1 is my favorite show that I still watch it today now 14 years ago the actors were beautiful now days they are ugly and old and abolutely joke I am really tierd of Misha Collins as Castiel an angel who sucks at acting or Crowley who is a terrible villian. Or relegious show now which is a total joke.

Skin is as bad-ass episode and my favorite episode of all time. Sam's friend from college Zach Warren (Aleks Holtz) is acussed of a murder of his gf and Sam and Dean travel to St. Louis, Missouri, to investigate the typical doppelganger case and help Sam's friend and his sister Rebecca Warren (Amy Grabow). I miss when sam and Dean cross travel trough country. I miss after my mom died I travel with my dad crosscountry too just like Sam did with his brother Dean. Sam Winchester was absolutely my favorite character.

That is one of the reasons why Friday the 13th (2009) reboot from Jared Padalecki is my favorite horror slasher flick and my fav and why I put it above the original Friday the 13th.

Great acting performence from Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles and Amy Grabow. I used to tavel cross country with my dad like Sam and Dean did I really miss 14 years back I will never get those years back.

Supernatural fans check out the first Season Episodes: Skin, Wendigo, Hook Man and Bloody Mary are my favorite episodes in season 1 from Supernatutal.

    Hi Brother! Oh... Bother

I did enjoy this one, even though the idea of a shapeshifter isn't very original. It was Still a fun episode.

I have to commend the visual effects here. I thought the transformation "shedding" scene was great, grotesque and unsettling body horror. Also the piles of festering goop. I watch a lot of these types of shows and I felt grossed out by it. This gives the episode more points.

Seeing Dean shirtless definitely doesn't hurt either.

Yep, yet another excellent episode... Written by an X-Files guy and directed by a Voyager guy... :D

I am SO glad I stayed with this show, even though at first I really thought it wasn't going to be that great.

This one was directed by the fellow who played Tom Paris on STAR TREK: Voyager. I knew that he had become a well known television director as also the woman who played B'ELanna Torres who has gone on to be a very good television director.

I also noticed that this episode was written by John Shiban, one of the principle guys at the X-Files. So, even going into this episode, I figured it would likely be pretty good, and it was... : )

I almost can't believe how good this show is, it truly has every bit of the quality of the X-Files series which I personally feel is one of the best shows ever made.

Anyway, if each episode is as good as they last two have been, I will absolutely come back here each time and praise it!

    Deja Vu

Geez! I am really trying to get into this show. The plot is intriguing but so far with S1 E6, I am losing endurance. This show is so cliche and predictable. Running from town to town with funds from who knows how? Showing up 400 miles later no worse for wear. Same predictable co-star opposite, small frame eye candy doll in distress. And the brothers, posing as this or that to unwitting authorities, too dense and naive to crosscheck their story. Hello! These guys are too young for just about every impersonation! You ask too much of the viewer with "temporary suspension of disbelief" Designed for the "mind on hold" viewers curious about the paranormal.

    • Trivia
Jensen Ackles appears shirtless in this episode. This was devised by Eric Kripke to meet the overwhelming number of requests he was receiving from fans for Ackles to appear wearing less clothes.
    • Goofs
The email Sam receives from Rebecca puts the date of the episode in early December. However, later in the episode Dean complains about their having to be up at 5:30 in the morning, even though it is completely light outside. If it were actually December, the sun would not have risen yet.
