Less than a month after this episode originally aired, Danny DeVito guest-hosted on Danny DeVito/Sparks (1982), bringing the rest of the Taxi cast on stage to take a bow; their show having been unexpectedly canceled by ABC. To demonstrate his ire, DeVito showed a film he'd put together with Louie DePalma driving a taxi to ABC headquarters and destroying the building with a bomb. Ironically, NBC would also give them all the boot after one season.

Goofs
Elaine's son, Jason, appears to be several years younger than the last time the audience saw him, when the cabbies all took turns caring for him when Elaine was out of town.
