      Early in the episode, as Jim Edwards is galloping away on his horse, the aerial shot, no doubt filmed near noon time on a sunny autumn day, pics up the shadows of the rotor blades of the low-flying helicopter carrying the camera. The shadows can be seen at the beginning of the shot along the lower edge of the frame for several seconds before the camera is panned higher as the rider escapes the gunfire. At the end of the credits of the first episode, "Helicopters furnished by Southwest Helicopters, Inc." is shown, which apparently was how many of the trail riding scenes were filmed throughout the series.
