While almost complete fiction, it is a very exciting conclusion to the two-parter.

This is the second part of a completely fictionalized account of Al Capone being moved from his prison cell in Atlanta to his new escape- proof cell at Alcatraz in California. While he really was moved from Atlanta to Alcatraz, the rest of the show is mostly hooey.

The show begins shortly after the train with Capone and other prisoners has left Atlanta. Ness and his men know that an attempt to free him will occur and it will be somewhere near Denver...but they need to do a lot of work to pin down the exact plan. Most of the episode, in contrast to the last, consists of Ness and his team's efforts.

This is a very tense and exciting episode...much more than the first part.

The Mission set free Al Capone avoid Alcatraz and disappears toward Italy-part two!!!!

In this second part of previous episode Al Capone imprisoned at Atlanta meanwhile Alcatraz already is able to received the most dangerous American criminals, when the train left Atlanta prison toward into Alcatraz, Capone's crew at Chicago have enough time to settle a plan to rescue Capone along the way, nonetheless Eliot Ness's crew aware that somewhere the gang will try stop the train to pick up the famous mobster, but they work half blind.

Suddenly appears a hint how the Capone's gang will reach at train's route, the joined money for Capone lives at Italy will be sending by plane, however the matter is finds out where the rendezvous should be, according the pilot the meeting point is unknown, just the range of the flying was given to him around 710 miles, thus Eliot Ness figures out that the trading place must be at smallest town Cloverville on California territory at junction train tracks, Capone's gang is still there pretending be US's officers, the local Sheriff was a easily target to they take over the town and the Railroad station and train arrival at Cloverville will be 11.42 exactly schedule time.

Aware that Eliot Ness enforces a task force get into the village meanwhile he and they fellow mates arrive by plane as phony Chicago's thugs as delivers men of suitcase full of money, here sadly the writers committed a dreadful mistake due the own Ness is largely known cross-country in America, whoever placed Ness among most trustworthy Al Capone's gang as Eric Holvig (James Westerfield) that clearly knows Eliot Ness's face, fairly noticed by the audience, such weird thing spoils a little a good episode.

    Thanks for reading.

    • Trivia
In this 2-part fictionalized story of an escape attempt of Al Capone from the train transporting him to Alcatraz in 1934, the script writer took the liberty to include a historic character in a minor but noticeable role. The mob hires a charter air service to fly Capone to Mexico after the escape. The pilot/proprietor of the 'Lone Eagle Flying Service' is named Fred Noonan, played by Eddie Firestone. Fred Noonan was the pilot and navigator who served as Amelia Earhart's navigator on her famous round-the-world last flight in 1937.
