Yoki Shimin no Kokuhaku: Confession

This episode was far more eventful than expected, keeping an nice balance between action and mystery. 'Ergo Proxy' proves to be an excellent thriller with interesting characters and a fascinating and enigmatic story.

I also enjoy the art style quite a lot. The fairly monochrome palette with occasional pops of (muted) colours works quite well, and both the animations and backgrounds look great. The cinematography is pretty good, too; the beginning of the episode reminded me a fair bit of Blade Runner.

If they keep this up, 'Ergo Proxy' might just become one of my favourite shows!
