Trivia
Due to a production error, Frank Welker's voice is not modulated with a vocoder for the line "Ratbat has found a deposit of..." in this episode. The result is Soundwave sounding like Dr. Claw from Inspector Gadget (1983).

Goofs
Soundwave's line of dialogue, "Ratbat has found a deposit of..." is heard without its sound processing, so that Frank Welker's "Dr. Claw" voice is quite audible.
