    Horrid.

The Chimeron Queen and baby are at risk, as The Bannermen plan to attack.

Absolutely horrid from start to finish, the acting is shocking with some abysmal accents, and dire effects, that poor baby made up to look like a cabbage, perhaps the most embarrassing thing ever on Dr Who, and I've sat through Timelash.

They tried to create a whimsical Welsh sci fi story, essentially a base under siege story, but they got it so wrong, it's childish, silly, and overly stupid. Why didn't The Doctor just take somewhere else in The TARDIS?

I can't find any love for this at all, I said at Part I thought this was the lowest point for the show, I stand by that.

Delta and the Bannermen: Part Two

The special effect of the newborn green alien baby is terrific. Then it fails as it's a baby in a suit with dark green makeup.

Later it is an infant girl with light green makeup. The alien baby grows at an alarming rate.

Delta and the alien baby is taken somewhere safe by Billy.

However Gavrok and the Bannermen manage to track them down in South Wales. The rest of the aliens are not so lucky. Their bus gets blasted.

Tonally the episode is all over the place. Don Henderson is deadly serious. There is nothing campy about him.

Then there are some minor characters who have no reason to be there. It was good to have Stubby Kaye and Hugh Lloyd but they are not really needed.

It is a busy episode, It has energy but is really too silly and slightly misconceived.

    • Trivia
When Billy enters Delta's room with flowers, he's surprised to see the baby. In the original edit for part one, Billy entered before the egg hatched and was most surprised when he watches it hatching.
    • Goofs
When riding with Ray and Burton on the motorcycle through the cow pasture, The Doctor can clearly be seen wearing glasses in two successive shots. The real giveaway is when sunlight bounces off the lenses as they ride left out of the frame.
    • Quotes

Burton: Now are you telling me that you are not the Happy Hearts Holiday Club from Bolton, but instead are spacemen in fear of an attack from some other spacemen?
