Very good continuation, oh the eye.

A very fast paced start to the episode picking up from episode 2's classic cliffhanger, what has happened to Sarah Jane? The music helps to add to the suspense. The Doctor and Sarah now know what's happening and once she's rescued him from the village bomb they are captured in the Kraal base, the guard brings in water and there's the classic line 'if we can lure that guard in and give him a good stiff jolt' I wonder if that was in the script or added in by Tom? A very good episode which was slightly down on the calibre of eps 1 and 2. Someone who probably wasn't watching was Kenneth Williams who had described episode 2 as silly in his diary. The finale next....

    Nothing Will Go Wrong...

A cunning plan to destroy all on Earth, so the Kraals can invade and begin to rebirth, with traitorous aid, as they start their crusade, the Doctor and Sarah will give all their worth.

    • Trivia
Several key cast and crew members watched the original broadcast in a random person's living room. The group was being driven through Surrey for an evening shoot for an upcoming serial (Seeds of Doom) when Elisabeth Sladen pointed out to Tom Baker that it was about airtime for this and it would be the first one of hers that she wouldn't be able to see. Tom pointed out that they could probably knock on a random person's door and ask to watch themselves on television. Elisabeth was amused by this, but Tom had the driver stop and in fact knocked on a door and politely asked the homeowner if the group could watch Doctor Who with them.
    • Goofs
The rocket launch is clearly stock footage of a NASA Saturn V lifting off.
    • Quotes

Doctor Who: Once upon a time there were three sisters, and they lived in the bottom of a treacle well. Their names were Olga, Marsha and Irena. Are you listening, Tillie?

Sarah Jane Smith: I'm Sarah. Sarah!

      Doctor Who: I feel disorientated.

Sarah Jane Smith: This is the disorientation centre.

      Doctor Who: That makes sense.
