65% running around corridors and into transmats.......

Mentalis is programmed to believe that the war is over, the Marshall is en route to attack, so Mentalis will self destruct, and destroy Zeos and Atrios up, 'The Armageddon factor.' Astra is mesmerised by the Shadow, and taunts Merak. The Marshall fast approaches in order to destroy, and Mentalis goes enters self destruct mode. The Doctor rigs an ingenious mock up sixth segment and attaches it to the remaining 5 pieces, and uses the key to stop time, and halt the Marshall's attack. Astra is sent to trick the Doctor, she tries gaining access to the TARDIS and succeeds. The Shadow sits with the now mesmerised K-9.

Shapp's shooting is like nothing I have ever seen before on Dr Who, it's like a Spike Milligan sketch. Merak is clearly none to bright either, chasing after Astra's shadow. This week it's K-9's turn for the idiot inducing pills, he's tricked a few times, this time with a beeping box.

It's pretty good, but descends into farce on occasion. It's possible a four part story would have been better? Part 4 has featured lots of running about, and lots of jumping into teleports.

    The Armageddon Suspension...

Princess Astra has become Shadow's thing, she's instructed to search and to find and to bring, but the Doctor's no fool, recognises a tool, but K-9''s not so bright and obliging.

    • Quotes

Romana: So if the Marshall attacks...

      Shapp: Which he will.

Doctor Who: There'll be a rather large bang, big enough to blow up Zeos, take Astrios with it, and make certain the whole thing ends in a sort of draw. That's the way these military minds work: the Armageddon Factor.
