    All things relative

This episode is one of many that my cousin Paul West( Paul Hersey) wrote for many shows. Ozzie and Harriet. Paul was known as the Dean Of Family Comedy Writing. He retired from the industry as story editor for The Walton's. So amazing to catch up on his writing. I love the Donna Reed Show. Seeing Tisha Sterling as the instigator of fun was typical of teens. TV writing was innocent. Not like today. The language. The clothing. (Or lack of). How some innocent events like in this episode was. Such a crisis. I'm glad we can see these shows to remember. Reminisce. Donna Reed was THE TV Mom we loved.

The car Jeff borrows for a date is a classic top-of-the-line 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 Sunliner convertible. It was eight years old when the episode was filmed, but still looked brand new!
