      Electrifying.

This time, Spider-Man is up against Pardo (voice of Gillie Fenwick), a mysterious sorcerer with an enormous, shadowy, electronic pet "cat" at his disposal. Pardo intends to rob all of NYCs' citizens of their possessions, steal their souls, and destroy their bodies, thanks to his nefarious "movie" process which he uses to ensnare his victims. Only the strong-willed Spidey stands in his way.

'Pardo Presents' does fall victim to the standard series issue of padding, as Spidey leads this cat on a *long*, merry chase around NYC. Certain shots also tend to be recycled. But at least this episode benefits from a typically colorful villain (and that color would be green) and some truly cool music.

Not *as* weird or surreal as many other 2nd and 3rd season episodes, 'Pardo Presents' does offer some agreeable entertainment for fans of the series. It also gives Peter the chance to deliver the final punchline.

      Seven out of 10.
