    Only on 8.8?

This is one of my favourite episodes. I'm shocked that it has only an 8.8 rating.

    One of my favorite episodes!

This episode has so much to love in my opinion! Everything from rhe setting, the development, reveals.. just overall narrative is something to love!

This episode descides to shake things up, by introducing classic elements from other media where the goal is, to find something secret, hidden, that might be more risky than you would think at first!

The owl, is one of my favorite spirits in Avatar, just behind Ko! He is intelligent and menacing, and his design is great!

From todays perspective, the themes of war is more relevant than ever! How do you justify war, and what is the difference between attacking and defending? Amazing themes!

Avatar Meets Tomb Raider Meets Indiana Jones

A really action packed and fun filled episode. The anthropologist is adorable and hilarious. The desert people and Knowledge Spirit are creepy. The settings of the desert and underground library are breathtaking and wondrous.

    • Trivia
The knowledge spirit's name, Wan Shi Tong, is Chinese for "He who knows ten-thousand things." Accordingly, this is how he introduces himself.
    • Goofs
Sokka inputs the nineteenth day into the planetarium system instead of the ninth as the parchment says. The other parts of the date are correct, including the otherwise unidentified stem counter on the third ring.
