    It is not Marvel comics.

The last five minutes with Claire and Mr Bennet were really moving, I thought. Mr Bennet is only human to love his adopted child like his own. And Claire is only human to love and hate her known father. It was sad, though, I hope the end of the series would bring them back together as father and daughter. Most of the flashbacks were interesting too as it started to connect everyone. What makes this show so addicting is that the people are so ordinary but so special and it shows both aspects equally. It is not Marvel comics. After each show, it makes you want to believe that there are everyday people with special abilities indeed yet they are more human and are not immortals. Great show. Looking forward for more.

    Outstanding!!

Outstanding. TV doesn't get much better than this. An absorbing and moving episode superbly acted by Jack Coleman and Hayden Panettiere. "Company Man" is one of the most revealing episode of Heroes where several more layers of the mysterious Mr Bennett are unravelled. The viewers start to get an idea about Mr Bennett's motives and see his transition from reluctant parent to the doting Father he became. The last few scenes between Jack Coleman and Hayden Panettiere are particularly moving. Jack Coleman is especially good and shows a more human side to the character. It's a mystery why he hasn't been nominated for a stack of acting awards. Great acting, writing and directing; the pick of season 1 in a must see drama.

    • Trivia
Incarnations of the Doctor and The Master from Dr. Who appear in this episode, Christopher Eccleston and Eric Roberts respectfully.
    • Goofs
In the flashbacks, Claire is depicted as being an infant and at one point Bennet states that she has been keeping them up at night. However, it was previously established that she was 18 months old when she was separated from her birth mother. The caption on the flashbacks says "14 years ago" which would be consistent with her being 18 months old at the time and not an infant as depicted.

      [Mr. Muggles is barking]

Ted Sprague: I've had enough of that.

      [Ted picks up Mr. Muggles]

      Matt Parkman: Don't! Don't! Don't!

Ted Sprague: I'm not gonna nuke their dog!

      [Reads tag]

Ted Sprague: I wouldn't hurt Mr. Muggles, would I?

Matt Parkman: You know what? If you want to hurt this guy, that'd be the way to do it. There are more pictures of dogs around here than there are of his kids.
