Gyojin Teikoku no Owari! Nami wa Ore no Nakama Da!

In an epic showdown Monkey D. Luffy defeats Arlong and saves the island. A heavy fight, stretched over episodes ends. Luffy's realisation that Nami's profession as a map writer binds her to the place is brilliant. He destroys not only her room but also the whole Arlong Park, so she can finally be free. Not just materially but also metaphorical. I have never seen Nami so content!

Then the laughsome admiral rat arrives to play the party prooper but he also gets what he deserves and so this story arc finds an end.

But not without Luffy receiving his first bounty! Yes, you heard right. He is now officially a wanted pirate on the seas!

I like this series so far, because of the characters but come on guys.

Battles that are taking 5-8 episodes to finish are soooo long and after a while they become boring.

We are talking about 2-3 hours of anime with the viewer watching the same scene, two people standing talking and fighting and more talking and more fighting and more talking and fighting ..... wow now i know why it took the creator more than 1000 episodes to tell the story.

I will finish this anime but it's gonna be a long ride.

It is quite good when the plot finally moves and the main characters interact with each other.
