  • [From Toby's point-of-view, he sees a picture of John and his mother in a wedding]
  • Grandmother Ellen: [offscreen] Jackets are to be hung up. And meals are to be eaten in the kitchen.
  • Toby: Yes, ma'am. You have a nice house.
  • Grandmother Ellen: Let's keep it that way, shall be? My bridge group is arriving any minute. You may stay quietly upstairs until dinnertime.
