    Bunny wackiness

Love everything about 'Tiny Toon Adventures', did so when younger and it gets better and better with every watch like a lot of other animated childhood favourites. The colourful animation. The infectious music. The smart and wonderfully wacky writing and references. The fun stories and portmanteau segments that often parody films and television. The hugely engaging and personality-rich characters. The great voice acting from some of the best voice actors in the business.

All the previous 'Tiny Toon Adventures' episodes ranged from very good to fantastic. Another episode to comprise of more than one segment (four here, "Buster Bunny Bunch", "Bag That Bunny", "Lifestyles of the Rich and Rotten" and "The Anvil Chorus"), "It's Buster Bunny Time" does not disappoint. Found the episode to be great, even if there are better, funnier and more inventive episodes of the show. It is though more consistent than a couple of the other previous episodes to be made up of segments rather than one big story (personally prefer this type of episode to anything but that's probably just me).

Of the four segments, my least favourite is probably "Lifestyles of the Rich and Rotten". Mainly though because it is the segment that parodies the source least familiar to me, so parts did admittedly go over my head. Babs' Robin Leach impersonation is priceless though, can never get enough of her impersonations.

My favourite segment has to be "Bag That Bunny". It's the segment that felt to me the closest to the Looney Tunes wit and wackiness and had a very Looney Tunes scenario, not surprising considering it's based around a Roadrunner/Wile E Coyote (find their series very entertaining, or at least the earlier cartoons, and have always enjoyed Wile) competition. Calamity Coyote is a lot of fun as a character.

The animation is vibrant and even, doing a great job as well with the reactions. The music is as good as the old Looney Tunes cartoons (prime-Looney Tunes, not most of the 60s ones) in being characterful and adding to the action, if not quite enhancing it in the same way. It always helps to have a memorable theme tune, and the one for 'Tiny Toon Adventures' is suitably hip and very catchy. The writing is razor sharp and smart, with the references and parodies inspired and not random. Still have a lot of love for the characters and the voice acting from the immense talent on board is a delight with no exception.

    Summing up, great. 9/10
