The main features of the movie is its Senaries and Ganesh's acting. Most of the film is shot in Sakleshpur region of Karnataka during monsoon season. The way Jog falls is captured in camera is wonderfully imagined. Ganesh's acting is excellent. Music made this film a big hit. Melody king manomurthy is the main element of success for this film.

Saw this movie on 2nd Standard and saw it on TV.... remembering my Golden days. A nostalgic feel by watching it many times. The powerful music and cinematography lifts up the movie.

The movie is overall good. Can be watched once. The main features of the movie is its Senaries and Ganesh's acting. Most of the film is shot in Sakleshpur region of Karnataka during monsoon season. The way Jog falls is captured in camera is wonderfully imagined. I wonder why no other directors have thought about that before. I heard the director Yograj Bhat 1st invited Puneeth Rajkumar to play the role(But thank god he rejected after reading the script.) Ganesh's acting is excellent. Sanjana is not too good, but OK. She really could and perhaps should have been the cynosure for eyes particularly so because she's been made to drench completely in the rain during the entire filming!!! The thought of using Rabbit is awesome. Its name is symbolical and perfect.

Sitting in movie-theatre, how can you get all senses tingled simultaneously. I prescribe the following key reasons;

1. Spectacular cinematography 2. Crisp direction 3. Exquisite dialogues 4. Chartbuster music 5. Good Acting 6. Smooth screenplay 7. Great locales 8. All in all - cinema experience at its best.

And of course Pop-corn!

Per me, the best blend of all these is what was named as "Mungaru Male" Thats 8 out of 10.

Here in our Karnataka state, people are surprised if they come to know you have not watched this movie yet! My hallmark collection is awaiting its most honoured new arrival - DVD of "Mungaru Male"

Tourism ministry should thank the team because this is the best visual experience of the tourist hot-spots of Karnataka that a film has provided yet.
