Hard to believe that this picture has been evaluated by 446 people so far but no-one wrote a review! I fully agree with the 8.2 average evaluation; it's a great series. Great. Watch it if you like sophisticated, well-done police procedurals. Leaving all of its glory aside, however, I would like to point out something that struck me as very odd. Set in early '00s Poland, everybody smokes all the time. OK for realism. But how much did cigarettes cost then and there? (1) Nobody thinks twice about asking others -- even complete strangers -- to give them a cigarette. And (2) very, very often, these smokers will light up, take one or two puffs, and then put the cigarette out or throw it away! Not very realistic when taxes make cigarettes so ex-pen-sive!
