Comedy doesn't really get better than this.

Ken is under real pressure from the brewery, Phil and Nice are flogging forged notes.

Back with a bang, Series two opens up with a tremendous episode. It's the same magical standard as the first series.

The characters have continued to develop beautifully, and the one liners are sensational.

The look on Phil and Nigel's faces when Ken explains about the robbery are matched by everyone's astonishment at Joan's story. Best bit for me has to be Jean and Winnie's scathing conversation, absolute perfection, the delivery is tremendous.

Lee Ingleby is in as Mel's new boyfriend, as his predecessor moved on to ..... other things.

Out of the frying Pan!! I almost fell off my chair! 10/10.

As Phil and Nige (the Police Officers) leave the pub through the back door, they turn their radios back on at which point, you can hear the dispatcher calling out "Foxtrot Alpha Romeo Tango" in the phonetic alphabet ('F.A.R.T'). This is an ongoing gag.

Tommy: The worlds gone mad. I blame it on the television and all this new cookery crap they put on. It's like Delia and that pillock from Sainsbury's. He was on again last night, he's never off. Cooking up another panful of shite that nobody'll eat, only his bloody mates. I turned over and there's this bunch of nobody's locked in house and we're expected to watch them eat, sleep and talk crap. I wouldn't care but as soon as they say anything interested they put a load of bloody bird noises on. Flicked over again, Pele was on. Ooh, I thought this is alright. Next thing, he's going on about erection problems. I tell you, the whole bloody world's gone mad.

Ken: I thought you'd have been interested in all that, Tommy. I mean, the last time you got a stiffy was the Queen's Silver jubilee when we had beer on in here half price.

Tommy: Aye, it soon went down though when I tasted it.
