I think more than half of the reviews just don't care for women or women empowerment. Yes it was heavy on feminism, could have been a lil more toned down, but it was still very entertaining. It's a movie made by women, targeted for women. Or in my case a gay man. I was going in with low expectations cause of the pg13 rating. I so badly wanted a evil bloodbath like 06s remake but this still had a few decent kills and chills. It's not no groundbreaking horror movie or bloodbath, but it's still popcorn fun. My only main issue was that too much was shown in the trailers. Way too much.
