- Mary: Dance with you? No thanks.
- Joey Parker: Well, maybe I'm wrong. But you're the most amazing dance partner I've ever had... Even though I taught her everything she knows.
- Mary: That's funny because you said that you forgot why you even started dancing... until you met me.
- Joey Parker: So why don't you bring yourself up here and show me why I remember.
- Joey Parker: [Mary is walking, and Joey calls her over] Mary!
- [She turns the other direction. He runs after her]
- Joey Parker: Hey! Mary? Mary, slow down! Hey hey hey. What's wrong? I've been calling Tami trying to get a hold of you.
- [Mary looks like she's about to cry]
- Joey Parker: What did I do?
- Mary: It doesn't matter. It's done. We're done.
- [she walks away]
- Joey Parker: [Joey catches back up to her] Woah. What are you talking about?
- Mary: Did you feel sorry for me? Was I your charity case? Is that why you asked me out?
- Joey Parker: What does that even...
- Mary: [Mary interrupts him] You figured you could toy with me until someone better came along, and I wouldn't mind because I was lucky a big star wanted me. Well, you know what really sucks about falling for a guy you know you're not right for? You fall anyway because you think he might turn out to be different.
- [She tries to leave, but Joey stops her]

- Mary: Anyway, thanks for all the dance moves, but I'm done dancing. Goodbye.
- Joey Parker: [mary does a fancy dance move] What was that?
- Mary: Guess the music just speaks to me.
- Joey Parker: [he does a fancy dance move] Well i guess we don't have a language barrier.
- Joey Parker: One of the reasons I came back was to remember why I started dancing in the first place. When i'm dancing with you im starting to remember.
- Joey Parker: Why don't we pick up here tomorrow.
- Mary: As in this my house or as in this position.
- Joey Parker: Ah, i'm not that kind of guy.
- Mary: Ah i don't find that that convincing.
- Britt: You have two managers?
- Joey Parker: Apparently.
- Britt: You must be a real handful. Wanna make out?
