I love most things Holmes. Elementary, Sherlock, Enola Holmes. There's been some books crediting Mrs Hudson as the brains behind the man I've been less keen on but hey. My point is I'm not a purist and this a take I enjoy. The Prince angle is a bit silly but a device to add an educated voice that can aid in opening doors. The thing that grates me the most is the modern phrases in the dialogue. But it's a small thing. The supernatural angle is something I enjoyed also. My understanding is it's true to the graphic novels. Which I shall be investigating now I'm aware of them. It's not what I expected but in a good way.
