New eyes

I used to watch this show sporadically. Now that I have Amazon Prime I am watching each episode. It has been so interesting because I feel like I'm watching it with new eyes. I really didn't notice the level of police brutality, sarcasm and sometimes cruelty that these detective displayed.

I really liked the big guy. Det Nick Vera when I used to watch it but he has proven to be a bit of a d-ick!!! The only real decent detective is the black man. He has a classiness to him. I also love the boss.

This was a good episode. Sad as usual when they play the sad music at the end. This show really does know how to pull on your heart strings.

I just wanted to express my view point now that I am watching more episodes. I cant help but wonder if this show ever got any push back for almost glorifying police brutality at times.

Trivia
"Rumspringa" (German) could be literally translated into "Running Around" (the title of the episode).

Goofs
The name of the city Lancaster, PA is mispronounced. It it pronounced the way the city of the same name in California is, "Lan-caster". The correct pronunciation of the city in Pennsylvania is "Lank-aster", with the emphasis on the first part of the name. Since the show is set in Philadelphia, the people there would know the correct way to pronounce the city's name.
