At first, I wasn't sure if this was going to be a good movie. The actress playing Loretta Lynn was so hard to look at and did not resemble Loretta in the least. I know Sissie Spacek is nothing to look at and neither was the real Loretta, but they were both better than this actress. Now she had a decent voice and would do Loretta proud.

The Patsy Cline actress was excellent and made the movie, I think.

BUT, this was a TV movie? The quality is very good, the acting is excellent throughout. The story was truly awesome.

Once you get into it, and it draws you in, you really enjoy a story like this. Whether it was fictional or not, it was a great story and by the end of the movie you are loving it, you are thinking back on every aspect of the movie and just loving it.

Highly recommended.
