Shaking my head
What could go wrong if you put phenomenal actors Denzel Washington, Rami Malek and Jared Leto together? A movie called Little Things, is what.
Denzel's character is clearly carrying a burden of a past. But other than some randomly inserted flashbacks, there is no fleshing out of that past in the 2 hour long movie. Denzel fumbles through the movie like a tired Equalizer.
Rami is completely miscast in the role of a senior cop who is handling the serial murder case. He comes across as the creepy Safin from "No time to die", even when they are trying to portray him as a regular father of two children and that doesn't help the plot at all.
Jared is great, and is in probably the only watchable moments in the entire film. But the wafer thin plot doesn't utilize him fully.
To top it all, the film crawls on, pretending to be a slow burn thriller, but doesn't make the mark.
