Has Some Fun Moments In It

Steve's top salesman Bill Fox has been razzing Hazel about her weight, so she signs up for a weight loss course - but has to find a way to scrape together the $250 fee. She persuades Steve to let her help out at the office. When she meets a client of Bill's who has just closed a big deal with Baxter Realty, a misunderstanding has Hazel believing it was SHE who made the sale and will be receiving a commission.

A lot of fans dislike this episode because of the fact that Hazel is so easily taken-in by the weight-loss sales pitch and that she dissolves into a blubbering mess about everything half-way through. It's not one of my favorites but it does have its moments. Hazel's peeved expressions are priceless when dealing with the insensitive Bill.

Lee Meriwether does well as the woman running the "Figure Contouring" salon - she plays her like a smiling cobra.

Hazel's pained walk up the driveway after her first workout session is very funny. Harold exclaims "Maybe she was hit by a truck or something!".

Ann Jillian as teenage receptionist Millie has a fun bit when the script mentions her juggling 3 boyfriends. This is kind of prescient knowing Ann's character on IT'S A LIVING was the man-crazy one.
