Amazing amazing movie
I loved this movie! I am probably in the minority. The topic itself is dark, so much about loneliness, isolation, making the best what you have, and strange relationships. I loved Gleeson and Farrell, and the duo with the writer were the perfect combination. I ended up watching In Bruges after and loved that too. It is a story set in Ireland. The humor is dark, and the bleakness is horrifying, and yet, strangely, the human mind and small town-mind is intriguing. I loved watching it and highly recommend it. It is not a light movie, but certainly not psychological or complicated like Bergman movies. But it is intriguing and a good watch. The acting is fantastic, and it haunts your mind long after.
