Who Killed Sara? (2021)

Review by bonner-42859

Who Killed Sara?

7/10

Bingeworthy though a bit cheesy at times

This is the first time my wife and I watched an entire series in one sitting. It is a bit cheesy. There is a great deal of sex though I believe it is better done than in American films. I had a real problem with this film though I still give it a "7." I do not track a film well when the film switches between the past and present and this series does that at a breakneck pace. (My wife does track well). I just remember the characters in their youth or as they are older and then the film switches to the other era and this often happens in seconds and non-stop. The film also frequently adds and subtracts characters so one must pay attention (no playing on the cell phone while watching the series). There are some truly evil characters (especially two) and several sub-plots to which the viewer has to pay attention.

Some reviewers did not like the acting. I did. Again, a bit cheesy at times or even over-acted but generally quite good. That we watched the entire series in one sitting testifies to the skill with which the producers wrapped up each episode.

I was disappointed that there is only one series. I thought it would tell the entire story and it did not. The good news is the second series has already been booked.

Oh, without spoiling anything, because I truly don't know what happens, but I don't like Sara at all. She is not who she seems...my opinion only. Sweet? Innocent?...not so much.
