First, does the show not have a medical consultant? If they do, the person needs to be fired because the medical aspects of the plots are filled with errors. Second, Bush always comes across as someone trying to play tough and smart but is in way over her head; this show is yet another example of that (and it's embarrassing to watch). Third, the entire production comes off as amateurish.

Come on, CBS. You can do so much better. Just burn off the remaining episodes and put the show out of its misery.
