Predictable and humor everyone understands.
This movie is a pretty easy going one. It's easy to follow, and the humor is on such a level that everyone can understand it. However, this might also be the movies downside. Personally I only found a few occasions where I would bother to smile, simply because the humor isen't anything other than plane normal. The story is very predictable and never makes any twists or turns that would throw the audience off. Two actors do their jobs well. Thure Lindhardt takes the cake, closely followed by Troels Lyby. Sidse Babett Knudsen and Mick Øgendahl dosen't stray too far from what we've seen them do before. I doub't I would wanna see this movie again, unless the rain was coming down outside, and someone had stolen my movie collection and locked my door from the outside. All in all, I'm sure there's a lot of people out there who would enjoy this movie - but not me.
funny beyond any danish movie I've seen
I saw this movie at a pre premiere , The Writers Mick Øgendahl and Rasmus Heide was both there and introduced the movie very well.
The movie it self is so funny that the entire audience laughed at probably every joke Mick Øgendahl made.. the punchlines and timings on them was just perfect.
Thure Lindhart as always , plays his role great, probably one of Denmark's best actors , and he plays beside some very talented and experienced people, except for Mick.
I Usually see when there's a non actor in the movie , but it was hard to see Mick as anything else than a natural actor , and a great comedian..

You have to be danish to get it
I have to start with the fact that Thure Lindhardt is one of my favorite actors, and he was the main cause that made me watch this movie. I wasn't disappointed by his performance, as it was great as usual. The rest of the cast wasn't bad either. I'm not quite sure about the movie itself though..Maybe the script was bad, maybe the jokes were dull, or maybe I just didn't get it..Each nation has it's own sense of humor-although I understand danish, I didn't find the jokes funny at all. But that doesn't necessarily mean they were bad. Romanian jokes are hilarious for us, but might seem totally unfunny for an outsider, either because they are untranslatable or we just don't share the same sense of humor. After all, it's all relative.
Excellent!
Not much to say other than, loved it! Danish humor at its best with some of the hottest danish actors around. Crazy about Mick Øgendahl's jokes and acting! Seen all his previous projects over and over again, so it's nice to see something new come out from his side. Even down to the smallest characters we see great casting, so that could alone give this film a 10/10, but seeing them all coming together in this picture is plain awesome ! The directing is great too. Watch this with a couple of your best friends and it's sure to be a great night! I'm so gonna get this on DVD when it arrives, and it's gonna be my best friends Christmas present as well.
Best Danish comedy this year!
I saw this movie at Roskilde Festival 2008 and I'm going to see it again at a preview, a week before the official release date! This movie is so funny. I was laughing the whole time. Danish actor and co-script writer Mick Øgendahl has without a doubt created a movie that is set to go on as a Danish comedy classic, such as Sprængfarlig Bombe and Blinkende Lygter.
The plot is easy to follow and isn't confusing at all if you just pay a little attention. It's easy to understand but the movie is about the lovely trash-humor that is just hard not to laugh at.
This is definitely worth a watch!
