Good but repetitive plot
It's well produced and directed, but every episode several times an episode, it goes like this:
Positive moment - negative moment - Positive moment - negative moment ad infinitum.
Alex continues to frustrate as she is not entirely honest in her intentions and encounters with people.
She misleads, deceives, lies, then suddenly she shows brilliant moments of love, compassion and stoicism. I found myself wanting to cheer for her, but she's hard to empathise with as she continually does asinine things. Which is why the predictable plot becomes annoying and obvious very early on. It's a shame, but the writing lets it down.
