Pratts run for ER Chief

I just can't get over the entitlement of Pratt. He was shocked that we wasn't made interim Chief and now so appalled he isn't being considered for the ongoing role he threatens to quit. Saying in a previous episode to Archie "when is it my turn, how long do I have to wait, I deserve it!" No you do not, sorry.

He has been an Attending for just over one year at this point. Luka was an attending for six years before becoming Chief. So wait a minimum of six years Pratt, that's how long you gotta wait. And Luka had a fairly solid record during those six years. Compare that with Pratt who falsified a drug test to save his buddy, set up an unlicensed clinic out of a church, went showing off in his new car with Chen and a patient, invoking road rage and crashed, leading to the death of the patient, and was one of the most arrogant/cowboy interns/residents in the entire series, total disregard for authority or experience above him.

Blows my mind that he just expects to be made Chief. The audacity.

Trivia
Gloria Reuben guest stars, reprising her role as Jeanie Boulet from seasons 1-6. This is the first of a series of guest appearances by former cast members in honor of the ending of the series. It is the only one occurring in the 14th season instead of the 15th, as the show was still scheduled to end after season 14 during the time of the episode's production.
