This one wrongly uses the Planet of the Apes franchise title. This title was supposed to mean something. This one is more of a coming to age movie that uses the planet of the apes title than an actual planet of the apes movie. No problem with this but why they have to spoil a good franchise with great history and futuristic meanings with a boy's story entering the hero world. The story is very very average and it goes very slow at the first 2/3 and has a kind of action at the last third. It has got one or two nice, not even strong, scenes and that is all. Also, no meanings at all. It is more of a beggining of a new trilogy. The good thing is that the effects are decent and that the... No that's all.
