The Start of a Promising Season!

This is the first episode of the third season of Dexter and it looks like we are in store for yet another promising season of the man who is a blood spatter analyst by day and a serial killer by night. As it seems right now, this season may not focus on a particular killer like the previous two seasons, so this may be a good chance of pace. Plus life is good for Dexter. While Dexter broods during the first two seasons, he seems more happy this season, if the first episode is any indication.

This episode, "Our Father," brings us the return of Dexter Morgan a couple months after the events of season two. Dexter has a happy life as his relationship with Rita is going very well and her kids look up to him as their father. Dexter is also disposing of people using his father's code of conduct. But one day, he happens to kill a innocent person, who happens to be the son of a well-connected District Attorney. Debra is assigned to the case by the now Sergeant Batista. But as we all know, Debra mouth does tend to find her some trouble...

Overall, this is a really good episode and the quality picks up right where we left it from last season. It seems that we are in for quite an interesting ride. And the cliffhanger that is presented at the final scene? Well I love it and we are in for a treat. I rate this episode 9/10.

    Awesome Start

The First two seasons turned me into a huge fan of this Series. Micheal C Hall essays the title role effortlessly. There is an awesome eerie feeling as the third instalment starts. Julie Benz is hot. Many scenes make you jump to the edge of your seat. The Murders begin and Dexter starts to kill the bad guys.. Brilliant show . I loved Jennifer Carpenter, David Zayas too.

    Life Is Good

On the day of Harry's birthday, Dexter is questioning his code. But he decides to kill the drug dealer Freebo, who has killed two girls, to celebrate the date. When Dexter break in his house, he is attacked by a stranger and he stabs the man in the heart. On the next morning, he discovers that his victim is Oscar Prado, the younger brother of the Assistant District Attorney Miguel Prado. Meanwhile Sergeant-Detective Angel Batista, who has been just promoted, assigns Debra to lead the investigation. However, Debra discovers some dark secrets about Oscar and she tells them in loud voice in the district. Miguel and Lt. Maria Laguerta overhear her big mouth and she is kept away from the case. The Internal Affair is investigating the new team member, Detective Joey Quinn, and Debra refuses to cooperate with information. Dexter's relationship with Rita is perfect and he has a huge surprise in the end.

I finally started seeing the Third Season of this outstanding series on Blu-Ray, and this promising first episode indicates what will be another excellent season. Debra's big mouth gets her into trouble with Miguel Prado and Maria Laguerta. Dexter apparently committed a serious blunder, violating The Code of Harry and killing an innocent man. What is the past problem of Joey Quinn? And the unexpected conclusion, how will it affect Dexter? My vote is eight.
