    Stress Relief

    Oh, man.

I saw the first four season of the office in about three weeks, just to catch up with the fifth season.

And this is BY FAR the best episode of the office i have had the pleasure to see.

EVERYTHING for this episode is worth mentioning. The crazy beginning, which got me cracked up with Angela's effort to have her cat saved, the Hannibal Lecter CPR moment, the Lily movie, Andy crying, Pam and her parents, Michael feeding pigeons.

It all adds up to the climax, Michael trying to offend Stanley and Stanley laughing.

It just made me realize that Michael Scott is like a grown up child in a playground. A playground called Dunder Mifflin.

    It'll grow on you

DKOSTY; This show is not really one you can start watching beginning with the 5th season. It has a lot of inter-office politics, jokes that have a foundation on the other seasons, dry sarcastic wit and over-the-top inappropriateness (part of a few actor's characters) and especially jokes that are only understood if you understand the characters. "That guy that started the fire" is supposed to come off as a total idiot. That's his character. It's true this show has a lot of subtle humor and the style is not for everyone, but I hope you give it a chance because it's just the kind of show that will grow on you if you do.

Didn't feel like 42 mins of an episode.

One of the best episode. Dwight's state of thinking is beyond hilarious. I watched Angela and her cat thing more than 100 times 😂 and the Jack Black movie scene where Andy thought that Jim and Pam were actually talking about the movie was so amusing.

When Dwight reveals to the rest of the office that it was only a fire drill, he says there is no fire, but he did actually start a fire in a garbage can. No one was seen putting it out. Response: Dwight just meant that the building was not on fire.
    • Quotes

Michael Scott: And I had some thoughts that I wanted to share with you people.

      Pam Beesly: What?

Michael Scott: Well, I wrote them down so I wouldn't forget.

      [clears throat]

Michael Scott: Jim, you're 6'11", and you weigh 90 pounds. Gumby has a better body than you. Boom. Roasted. Dwight, you're a kiss-ass. Boom. Roasted. Pam, you failed art school. Boom. Roasted. Meredith, you've slept with so many guys you're starting to look like one. Boom. Roasted. Kevin, I can't decide between a fat joke and a dumb joke. Boom. Roasted. Creed, your teeth called, your breath stinks. Boom. Roasted. Angela, where's Angela? Well, there you are. I didn't see you behind that grain of rice. Boom. Roasted. Stanley, you crush your wife during sex and your heart sucks. Boom. Roasted.

      [Stanley starts to laugh]

      Michael Scott: Oscar, you are...

      [starts giggling]

      Michael Scott: Oscar, you're gay.

      Oscar Martinez: Wow.

Michael Scott: Andy, Cornell called, they think you suck and you're gayer than Oscar. Boom. Roasted.
