    Allegory

Don has been carrying around a passel of guilt since he shot that sociopath teacher back a couple seasons ago. Her teenage lover has escaped from prison and is gunning for Don. Don has dropped into mega-stoicism, refusing to talk about this guy. He leads his people to a standoff where he refuses to be the one to simply slaughter this guy. It all stems from his brief time exploring his Judaism, where he takes teachings and puts them into action.

    • Trivia
The synagogue scenes in this episode were filmed in the Korean Philadelphia Presbyterian Church (which, despite its name, is in Los Angeles) because the building was built in 1909 as an Conservative Jewish synagogue called Temple Sinai, and it still contains much of its original Jewish-themed decoration, including a large Star-of-David stained-glass window.
    • Goofs
The Eldorado they identify as 1975 is actually a 1971 or 1972. In 1973 the design changed, and again in 1975 the design changed.
