Among the many references in the show to "Dracula", such as the puppeteer named Renfield Rehnquist (in the movie, Renfield is Dracula's visitor then slave). The insane asylum he is held at, John Seward Home for the Criminally Insane (in the movie, the asylum curators name). In "Isle of the Dead" 1945, Boris Karloff played Nicholas Pherides, the auctioneer's name. Noser's tutor's name (Irina Dubrovna) actually comes from the movie, " The Cat People" (1942) where like here, she is a Serbian woman.
