    Oh yeah baby ...

I loved this DVD ... it flew out of my window with such grace after chucking it with all my strength, I couldn't bring myself to use it as a coaster.

Terrible camera work, Terrible sound, Terrible acting ... I couldn't even bring myself to watch more than 35 minutes of it. Initially I thought it was going to be the films 'style', but the more I witnessed the acting out of a script, the more I decided that this film is just 'bad'.

Whatever company decided this was worth putting on the shelves in your part of the world, needs to be regarded with caution.

If this was made by a 16 year old for a personal portfolio building project, it would of been pretty good. But not something you would expect people to pay money for.

    An overall poor attempt

I respect the enthusiasm and efforts needed to create an indie film, but that is about all I can respect about 3am. Greg Niecestro's poorly crafted script features an almost indiscernible plot. Even more confusing than the storyline was Greg's decision to cast himself as the main character, Michael. Viewers expect emotion from a character confused by love and terrorized by creepy events, but "stoneface" Greg brought zero emotion to his character. His dialog was on par with a Cinemax soft core porn. I was hoping some of the scenes with attractive actresses featured at least partial nudity. There are several quality scenes, but the bright spots are overshadowed by the terrible script and acting. I was waiting for a boom mic to drop into the picture, but I don't believe this low budget release utilized boom mics. Ayal Stern did a serviceable job in the role of Kenny, standing out as the polished turd in a sea of diarrhea. I'd be somewhat interested to see what Ayal Stern could do with a better script and production.

    cant believe this

this film was totally awful the acting everything was completely awful but hey i liked the first 20mins was interesting i liked it after wasn't good at all just complete waste of time not scary at all what also ways way boring i really don't mind watching low budget films i rent any type of movies ANY I MEAN and this was just waste cant ever you do don't spend your money on this crappy movie

if you want more details: Inspired by true events, Michael's friend Kenny reveals that he has a ghost living in his room who stops by every night at 3 A.M. Expecting to see nothing but a few tricks, Michael visits the room and experiences otherworldly phenomena that he can't explain. Soon after he seems to be followed by the number 3, appearing everywhere he goes. Intrigued by these events, Michael's younger sister tags along the next day to see the room for herself. Things take a turn for the worse however, as they both find themselves in a place of the dead, with mysterious spirits chasing after them. Michael learns the number 3 is a warning for a long lost love who faces certain doom on September 3rd. Forced to face his past, can he warn her before it's too

Not as bad as the reviews say

again i am on my own here, saying that this movie is not as bad as all the other reviews make it out to be. The ending goes a bit random and a too big a twist for my liking but never the less, not a bad film. i picked this film up from tescos and i watched it the same day, not as scary as the back might lead you on for but never the less, it still has its moments. I think they should make a second movie in this series. and the title is not 3.A.M it is paranormal ascendancy . they made the film drag on a bit in the middle and towards the end but it all does in a weird way come together and make sense at the end. but in the middle you will get really confused but don't worry it will make sense.

The Word 'Appalling' Comes To Mind For Lack of a Worse Word

I'm asking myself how it is I came to this place in my life that I could willfully sit through something this bad and not have sucked out my own soul through my mouth with a truck mounted industrial vacuum and incinerated it in a pool of igneous rock forming magma, then thrown what was left of me in the makings of a lodge fire for kindling.

If this was based on a true story as claimed, I empathize with the sheer sterilizing boredom the original persons must have felt for having gone through this. If you can imagine the most shallow, slow-witted, idiotic people conceivable, and then multiply that x 4, you'll be thinking of people smarter than the starring cast of this pseudo-movie. While the plot itself might have been the only salvageable evidence at the scene of this train wreck, it's quickly torn asunder by the abysmal direction, a script produced in a 2nd grade class project, and the cringe-inducing acting of its mentally challenged cast.

Just when you're thinking this can't possibly be serious, the soundtrack starts playing in what I'd best describe as those free CD's they giveaway for buying stereo equipment. Y'know, the one's labeled 'Music'. If there was something that was supposed to be scary in this movie, between the laughter during what was intended to be poignant moments, and the rush to find earplugs when the soundtrack starts braying, you'll fast see that any entertainment value in this wannabe b-movie quickly loses its novelty. The only marginally redeeming possibility for this tripe once you hit the halfway mark, might have been found in some random gratuitous nude scene with one of the few ill-cast brainless token girlfriend characters, which sadly, never happens. How these actors aren't all wearing safety helmets and name badges is the only thing 'scary' about this straight-to-DVD stinker.

If you haven't stopped this slow motion car accident before it ends, you'll want to point fingers at someone for stealing this time from your life, or if like me, for having fought a grueling war of attrition to endure it all without your face spontaneously exploding. As much as I'd like to blame it on the burgeoning independent film scene in Kentucky, or Illinois, or wherever this pile is from, or even on York Home Video, I can't, because this is in fact the worst 'thing', in my knowledge, to have come from either state, or the Distributors ever, all time. If you're like me you'll find some consolation in using your new DVD as a dog fetch throw toy, or chilled lager coaster.
