    Clon's Conscience

Stranded astronauts Mac (Frank Aletter) and Hector (Jack Mullaney) make a winding model airplane for the young Breer (Pat Cardi). Clon (Mike Mazurki) observes and reports to Boss (Cliff Norton) that the "strangers make live bird from bark of tree". Boss says "strangers put evil spirit in air bird" and sentences them to death. Clon is walking through the jungle when he falls down a hill. Mac and Hector run to him to find Clon withering in pain from a giant thorn in his foot. Instead of being grateful, Clon takes them back to Boss who orders them pushed off a cliff. The men stare down at their demise (a shot of the Grand Canyon), but Clon's conscience lets them go. They sneak back to village where Gronk (Joe E. Ross) and Shad (Imogene Coca) hide them from Boss. Knowing Boss' fear of evil spirits, Mac and Hector try and use it to their advantage. There's some absurd fun with the cave people trying to figure out the model airplane. An engaging episode with comical touches.
