    Gronk's Sneaky Punch

War drums are sounding, prompting the prehistoric cavemen to prepare for battle with the "painted people" (think prehistoric Indians). Boss (Cliff Norton) says all men must fight, and stranded astronauts Mac (Frank Aletter) and Hector (Jack Mullaney) are paraded in training. Mac suggests the needless battle should be resolved by having each side pick a champion to fight one another with the winner winning the war. Clon (Mike Mazurki) is easily selected, but the astronauts must travel to the painted people to convince them of the idea. They agree and select an even larger fighter Tor (Ron Feinberg). Clon goes into training and pummels his sparring partner Gronk (Joe E. Ross). The young Breer (Pat Cardi) knocks out Clon with his slingshot from afar, but Boss thinks it was a sneaky punch from Gronk and declares him the designated fighter. When Breer tells his mother Shad (Imogene Coca) and the astronauts the truth, they try and get into the mind of the painted people to throw the fight. Shad meets with Tor's wife Gam (Diana Frotheringham) where she witnesses what appears to be Gronk destroying man after man. Tor and Gam later see it was fake and now there is more incentive than ever for the fight between Tor and Gronk. An engaging (if not predictable) episode with a few laughs.
