The title is based on the 1995 movie Things to Do in Denver When You're Dead (1995) written by Scott Rosenberg which used the title from a song by Warren Zevon.

Goofs
When Sam accuses the Catholic priest of having violated the eighth commandment by lying, and priest corrects him, "ninth". That is the number used in most Protestant denominations, but in the Roman Catholic enumeration "Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor" is indeed the EIGHTH commandment.
