    Great episode!

    Day 3 and Day 4 are the best episodes for this season. Interesting that the decision about what children are going be handed over reminded me of Jonathan Swift's "A Modest Proposal for Preventing the Children of Poor People from Being a Burthen to Their Parents or Country, and for Making Them Beneficial to the Publick" As well, the original 12 selected "won't be missed" made sense. It reminded me somewhat of The X-Files whereby children were given to the Aliens by the fathers involved in dealings with the Aliens to ensure the safety of humans. Clement McDonald portrayed by Paul Copley was amazing! I'm going to look for other works he's in.

    Best Miniseries on BBC

    By far and away the best miniseries sci-fi and the BBC have put to the screen!

    Character development throughout the series are absolutely superb, with you genuinely caring for characters only introduced at this stage. Furthermore, the twists and turns are unexpected, but earnt and not unjustified.

    If I could forget this miniseries and watch it all over again I would, this is a rollercoaster ride throughout. This is an interesting concept that is realised, the absence of the Doctor is felt but also explained, making the ending feel not only crushing, but justified.

    If you have yet to watch this show, stop wasting time and start this!
