Rising Malevolence

Booster and Sinker's attempt to restart the escape pod's power grid uses dialogue directly lifted from Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980) when Han Solo and Chewbacca are trying to fix the Millennium Falcon.

At around 9 mins, when Plo Koon states, "That signal is weak. They must be close by." It might be thought that a strong signal would indicate a nearby transmission, not a weak one, however a weak signal would not travel very far.

The Director's Cut adds the following scenes and slightly extends some others: . Some dialogue between Anakin and Ahsoka is extended. . Grievous laughs and looks at Dooku. . A sequence with Obi-Wan is added after Ahsoka and Anakin leave and before their arrival at the Abregado system. . The Twilight passes the wreckage before Anakin prepares Ahsoka to find Plo Koon. . Ahsoka says someone seems to be longing for them before Obi-Wan calls them back. . Obi-Wan has a line about it being a rescue mission before telling Anakin his orders are different. . Plo Koon talks to the clones in front of the rescue capsule. . After a conversation between Anakin and Ahsoka, R2-D2 projects the expanse of ruins and the Twilight. . A droid wonders where Plo Koon suddenly came from. . The pilot of the droid ship tells the others to take cover. . Additional shot of Boost and Sinker shooting at the droids. Boost also complains that he has no clear line of fire.
