      When Bill is checking his blood sugar with a glucometer to see if he's still diabetic, the device's readings are "normal". However a real glucometer would do that, instead it would give a number that would tell a person's blood sugar level. A normal healthy level would be 5.0 on the A1C , while diabetics have blood sugar levels of 6.5 or higher.
