Good Series 3 Opener

Why did Peter never slap psycho Beatrice really really hard?

That being said, this was a fun and touching episode with lots of Britcom greatness. Guest stars included: Peter Sallis (Clegg on Last of the Summer Wine) June Whitfield (Edina's mum on AbFab) Daniel Hill (Harvey on Waiting for God)

Also the reappearance of Celia Emrie's adorable real-life son Angus as her character Gloria's son.

Even though the aforementioned terror named Beatrice was less unlikeable and less crazy and more relatable as she became a mother in series 2, all of her bad qualities are back in full force here.

It's too bad this show didn't last longer. Stephen Fry is excellent in it and It had great writing and a charming quality about it.

June Whitfield (Mrs. Earnshaw) appeared in the final two series of Last of the Summer Wine with star Peter Sallies (Cyril).
