Episode #1.2

Mary and Bobbo are joined by some unexpected guests, whilst The She Devil begins to spin her web, she's playing the long game.

This deliciously twisted four part series continues with another terrific episode. The first episode was all about reaching the point of rock bottom, our She Devil losing everything, and hitting rock bottom, here we see her begin to rise out of the ashes.

The story of revenge begins to take shape as Ruth begins to put the pawns in place for her game of Chess. Her own children, and Mary's own mum are moved in, with life changing consequences.

It's pretty funny, the laughs come from Mary's poor Mum, Liz Smith is incredibly funny, the scene of her in that care are side splitting. The acting dazzles, Margolyes and Smith have been terrific additions, Wallace however steals the show, she's tremendous.

It's almost tantalising, as a viewer, you just want Ruth to take down Bobbo and Mary, you'll enjoy Ruth's actions as much as she does, I seemed to remember having a degree of sympathy for Fisher, rewatching it, I haven't, she's quite devious, certain ruthless.

Wonderful, 10/10.
