Speed, Secrets, and a Deadly Game on the World Stage
What if the unveiling of cutting-edge technology turned into a stage for revenge, conspiracy, and a battle of wits that no one could escape? The Movie sets its mystery against the global spotlight of the World Sports Games, blending political intrigue with high-speed suspense.
The film begins as Japan prepares to launch the Hyper Linear, a state-of-the-art bullet train, during the international games. When high-profile executives and sponsors start vanishing, Conan must uncover the mastermind behind the disappearances before the train itself becomes a moving deathtrap. The narrative is infused with political undertones, touching on corporate power struggles, nationalism, and the exploitation of global events for hidden agendas.
Analytically, the film excels in its ambition to fuse technological spectacle with international intrigue. The futuristic train provides both a literal and symbolic vehicle for speed, progress, and vulnerability, while the kidnappings highlight themes of corruption and revenge. Character dynamics, especially the inclusion of Shuichi Akai and the FBI, add layers of tension, though they sometimes feel underutilized within the crowded plot. The pacing is uneven, alternating between dialogue-heavy exposition and action-driven sequences, leaving the central mystery less intricate than fans might expect. Instead, the spectacle of the train and global stakes take precedence over Conan's deductive sharpness.
Rating: 6/10 - ambitious and visually polished, The Scarlet Bullet delivers tension through scale, speed, and spectacle, but its reliance on action and political intrigue overshadows the complexity of its mystery, resulting in a thrilling yet uneven ride.

A captivating detective story that displays a stunning display of suspense and intrigue while revealing Conan's cunning brilliance
"Detective Conan: The Scarlet Bullet" is an exciting installment in the Detective Conan series that centers on the investigation of a complicated case involving a mysterious shooter who targets prominent figures by young investigator Conan Edogawa. The film, which was directed by Tomoka Nagaoka, is a well-liked mainstay in the mystery and anime genres because it highlights Conan's complex storytelling and deduction abilities. In addition, the movie features breathtaking animation, exciting action scenes, and careful attention to background art and character design details. "The Scarlet Bullet" is a satisfying and engaging story that honors its source material while presenting a novel and enjoyable experience, perfectly encapsulating the spirit of the Detective Conan series.
Another boring "detective" Conan show
I've watched roughly 1/2 of the series (there are 1024 eps atm) and many of the movies. This one without spoilers is another foray into the implausible. A very basic and unimaginative story. Sorry fans, this one is a yawn-fest. Though n my opinion the Conan Edogawa franchise has been limping along for about 7 years now.
Disappointing movie
I was very excited for this movie specially after the trailer but They took advantage of the Akai family's characters to promote the movie despite its superficial story.
MUST WATCH!
THIS IS TOTALLY MY FAVORITE MOVIE EVER, SO AMAZING AAA CANT WAIT TO SEE MOVIE 25 " HALLOWEEN BLOOD ", OMG U MUST WATCH THIS GUYS :D. And Ai and Ran hahaha i love them so muchh.
