Actually quite funny and very "B"
This was a very funny movie and I think it was done with tongue in cheek. It is of course a semi mocumentary of the movie 300 but with a few twists. These five guys were suppose to be watching the goat path. They left their post and craziness ensues.
The actors are not taking themselves seriously and are just having fun. It shows and makes the movie sort of charming along with funny and amusing.
No budget, no special effects but well acted and well written. for what is is...it is way above the norm.
Compared to equivalent budgeted movies this thing is a blockbuster!

30 minutes of my life....wasted!
i'm sorry but i have truly felt that i have wasted 30 minutes of my life plus $3.50 renting this movie. after that 30 minutes, i couldn't continue on watching it. the humors in this movie are very simple, good laugh for the little kids, maybe this movie is designed for the little kid. the 300 spartan died because 5 spartan fail to guard the goat pass? then they went off and open up a restaurant? still wearing their spartan uniform while hiding their identity? and then went back around to defeat the whole Persian army? i am confused. how much does it cost to make that movie again? 50k? i think i can do better with my digital camera. maybe a little editing, but what IS the point of this movie?
You know you shouldn't, but you laugh anyway.
I beg anyone who doesn't plan on seeing this because of the low budget to reconsider. If one wished to compare 305 with other parodies of 300 one would probably find that this film comes out on top.
The special effects are of coarse not the typical FX that you would find in a high budget film but they most definitely help make the movie what it is... a silly, well made (taking the budget into account), and for lack of a better phrase, "stupidly funny" film.
Another tip for whomever is reading. If you like the TV show 'The Office' and it's quick and perfectly timed humor, you will find a lot in 305 to your liking and at least appreciate the film for what it is, a silly film that makes you laugh even though you know you shouldn't.

A nice deviation from the rest of the 'Meet the Spartans'
In a horrible era of 'Meet the Spartans', 'Epic Movie' and 'Scary Movie 30', there is a flick that finally pops out of this pop-culture clusterbang that doesn't rely on other people's success and good writing. This flick is told almost like 'The Office', where all the characters are being interviewed as well as looking directly to the cameras. It is shot almost entirely against a green screen, with the backgrounds looking like something from Castle Wolfenstein, but the acting and stories are surprisingly good for a movie that has its roots in youtube super stardom. Surprisingly original, ingeniously written, and full of hilarity. Check out this flick if you're also sick of all these remakes and pop culture regurgitation.

Better than you might imagine
Just what the world needed! Another 300 parody, only this time, extra good!
This particular one is more funny and interesting than "Meet the Spartans" which was actually a very fine and comical parody of "300".
This version almost seems intent on being bad with the "five extra lost" Spartans being seriously un-Spartan-like and yes, even a special-ed kid would get that, Cause we want AND need more!! Don't avoid this. Everybody else can't just say no to this masterpiece.
