The Acolyte

8/10

SW fan bois need to wake up, this is quite good

Have to say i was not into this show the first couple of episodes, some of the acting rather average, seemed to be breaking some core star wars lore.

I kind of did quit watching after episode 3 as it took too much of the things that was bad about star wars rather than the good. But found my way back to it a few weeks later.

Episode 4 gets better, then Episode 5 is very good, apart from some small typically star wars like nuances. From there on in it gets better and better.

For me this show highlights exactly that being a Jedi or a Sith is not so black and white, theres lots of area in between, but the Jedi do not like in between almost as much as they dislike Sith.

The Jedi order is far from perfect and this is highlighted in this show, but not til later episodes.

My biggest issue i had is the way the Jedi Masters just are not very force sensitive, they constantly missing the obvious, getting jumped.

Some of the best light sabre action out there, and a good story if you let it unfold. After first 2 episodes i thought oh yeah this has been done to death, but not so much,.

Overall an enjoyable show.
